Day 2
Villanova de Meia
Focus: Sport climbing | Rock: Limestone | Approach: Short walk-ins | Day length: Flexible
We spend the day climbing at Vilanova de Meià , one of the largest and most established sport climbing areas in the Catalan Pyrenees. With a wide range of sectors and aspects, the area offers plenty of choice depending on conditions and preference.
The climbing is varied and technical, with well-bolted limestone routes across a broad spread of grades. Short approaches and comfortable bases make it easy to settle in for a full but unhurried day on the rock, with time to rest, regroup, and enjoy the setting between climbs.
Day 3
Collegats
Focus: Sport climbing | Rock: Conglomerate & limestone | Approach: Short walk-ins | Day length: Flexible
Today we climb in the dramatic gorge of Collegats, a striking setting where steep walls rise directly above the river. The area offers a distinctive style of climbing, with pocketed conglomerate and sculpted limestone providing a contrast to the surrounding crags.
A variety of sectors and aspects allow us to adapt the day to conditions, with routes ranging from technical to more sustained, all set in an impressive natural corridor.

Today we explore the heart of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, following a circular route through one of the most iconic lake landscapes in the Pyrenees.
Well-graded trails take us past a chain of turquoise alpine lakes beneath the dramatic spires of Els Encantats, with time to pause, take photos and enjoy the scenery.
After completing the loop, we return to Espot for the evening, with time to rest and prepare for the next stage of the journey.
Day 5
Abella de la Conca
Focus: Sport climbing | Rock: Limestone | Approach: Short walk-ins | Day length: Flexible
Today we climb at Abella de la Conca, a distinctive limestone area set among rolling hills and dramatic rock formations. The atmosphere here is quieter and more intimate, offering a contrast to the larger valley walls climbed earlier in the week.
The climbing is technical and varied, with compact sectors and well-bolted routes that reward movement and footwork. Short approaches and comfortable bases make it easy to enjoy a relaxed, steady day on the rock, with time to rest between climbs and take in the surroundings.
We return to the valley in the afternoon, with the evening free to relax and recover ahead of the following day’s plans.
Day 6
Terradets
Focus: Sport climbing | Rock: Limestone | Approach: Short walk-ins | Day length: Flexible
Today we head to Terradets, one of the most iconic sport climbing areas in the Catalan Pyrenees. Rising directly above the reservoir, the impressive limestone walls are home to hundreds of routes across a wide range of grades, making it a favourite destination for climbers from around the world.
The climbing here is varied, with everything from technical vertical faces to steep, endurance-testing lines. With short approaches and plenty of choice, we’ll have the flexibility to find routes that suit the group and make the most of the day’s conditions.
